She works with in-house counsel, owners, trustees, boards of directors, chief financial officers, human resources managers, administrators, and other executive-level employees to provide concise and relevant business counsel, as well as legal counsel. With her first job out of law school being a prestigious clerkship for an appellate court in New York State, Emina is an excellent writer and legal thinker. She is trusted by her clients, who turn to her for guidance on complex and, often, gray areas of the law. Emina has spent more than a decade working on exclusively management-side labor and employment matters, often in the healthcare sector. This has given her extensive experience in all aspects of labor and employment law, from a legal and practical standpoint. In the healthcare space, Emina has been recognized for national and Statewide sophistication of the law. She spends most of her time serving as the outside general counsel to various healthcare institutions on day-to-day compliance matters, dispute resolution, and operations.
