Three-Step Approach to Strategic Planning
The Anchor team takes a three-step approach to support a strategic plan
Step 1: Develop a Project Plan
Through a series of discussions, we better understand the organization’s mission, vision, goals, internal and external infrastructure, and gaps. The project plan will provide more detail information about the scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Step 2: Execute Business Assessment
We will investigate all departments and assess their impact on a few crucial measures that will drive the development of a robust plan. In this exercise, we will leverage our AYCE Assessment Tools to execute a SWOT and GAP analysis to align the organization with its mission better. Key assessments include:
- Financial Health
- Talent and Customer Experience
- Operational Readiness
- Risk Management
- Quality of Care Readiness
- Technology & Innovation Assessment
- Capital Readiness
Through these activities, we will develop a Business Discovery Report.
Phase 3: Develop a Strategic Marketing and Business Development Plan
The Anchor team wants the client to own the plan. As such, we spend time to go through the Discovery report and encourage the client to identify the critical areas for focus and the appropriate execution timelines. We typically build plans with a three-to-five-year outlook and will capture the organization’s ethos and mission, and connect the market need for products or services. The plans also provide the client with execution pathways to achieve their goals.
The plan will define the revenue possibilities, identifies the required operation and marketing infrastructure, layout the financial plan and milestones, and identify all critical strategic partnerships and alliances that will be necessary to advance the Plan. Core plans created by the Anchor team include:
